I know what “the good stuff” is because, after having trained thousands of dogs and their people, I have a pretty good idea what works and what doesn’t.
Lately, I’ve had a lot of calls from teacup puppy owners. These fall into two categories –
-
People who just got their puppy and want to start off right
-
People who are having problems and need some help solving them.
A lot of the problems might have been avoided by taking a few simple – but critical – steps before or right after bringing their teacup puppy or dog home.
When I was working with these dogs and their owners, I learned that some of my training methods did not work for teacup puppies and dogs, so *I* needed to learn more! This web site. and books are a synthesis of what I have learned by talking to clients, veterinarians, breeders, and groomers about teacup dogs and teacup puppies.
